BSBFP Outreach: Project Burgos

Thank you to all the members of BSBFCP who overwhelmingly contributed, sponsored and solicited medicines and clothes for our brothers and sisters in Ilocos Norte.

The project will greatly support the group of volunteers of Project Burgos, in their Medical Mission with the endeavor of helping out less fortunate kababayans in Ilocos Norte.
Mission Details:
- Beneficiaries: 586 Filipino citizens of Barangay Agaga, Burgos, Ilocos Norte
- Target Date: October 25, 2008 (Saturday, 8 am to 4 pm)

We would like to invite you to support the group of volunteers of Project Burgos, in their Medical Mission with the endeavor of helping out less fortunate kababayans in Ilocos Norte.
Mission Details:
- Beneficiaries: 586 Filipino citizens of Barangay Agaga, Burgos, Ilocos Norte
- Target Date: October 25, 2008 (Saturday, 8 am to 4 pm)

The volunteers will be needing the following for their mission:
1. Old Clothes
2. Old Books
3. Medicine (See HERE the list of the medicines needed)

Thank you to all the Backstreet Boys fans who supported yesterday's big event, Sarah Geronimo's mall show at the Mall of Asia Music Hall, featuring Backstreet Boy Howie Dorough. It was great to see you again and it was fun to share those special moments of our close encounters with Howie D. Much love also goes to all the BSB fans in the Philippines who may not be able to attend but prayed hard for the success of this big event. Photos will be shared soon.

Sarah Geronimo's new album Just Me is now available in all record stores nationwide, featuring the carrier single I'll Be There, her duet with Howie Dorough. Request for the song in radio stations to make it on the top spot. Instructions can be found HERE

Howie D will appear as special guest in Sarah's Mall Show at the Mall of Asia Music Hall on September 28, 3PM. You have to buy a CD worth Php250 at the venue as entrance ticket to the show. The show is at first-come-first-serve basis. Invade Mall of Asia, BSB fans! Be there early and get good seats!

Hoke Dorough, Howie's father, passed away in his sleep at the morning of June 22 at 9 AM. The family deeply appreciates all the love and prayers from the fans. The Dorough family had the opportunity to spend time with Hoke before he passed and are very grateful for that time.

They also want to thank you all very much for your love, concern and prayers during this time, and appreciates all the good thoughts you sent their way. The family will continue to be dealing with this loss, and can only be glad that Hoke is in a better place now.

An Open Letter on Howie's Visit To Manila

Dear BSBFCP Community,

Greetings!

As you may be aware, Howie Dorough was supposed to visit Manila sometime this July to promote his single with Sarah Geronimo. Negotiations were about to take place with Sarah's label but we were regretfully informed that Howie's visit would be postponed due to his father's severe illness.

We would like to ask for your prayers and continued support for the recovery of Howie's father and to strengthen Howie and his family in these trying times.

An Open Letter to the BSBFCP Members

Dear Fellow Members,

Mabuhay!

We are pretty sure that most of you, if not all, are now well aware that our country has been recently added as one of the venues for the Unbreakable Tour.

In light of this exciting news, we contacted Sony-BMG Philippines to confirm and inquire on the matter. We were told, however, that as of date, there are still no confirmations from the Sony Regional Office nor from any of the concert/tour promoters here in the Philippines. This may bring confusion to many as the supposed concert date is just a few days away.

Be that as it may, we are still hopeful for developments and clarifications in the coming days and are currently awaiting for any information we can acquire from the people in charge.

We have already sent letters of inquiry to the Boys' Management, Web Administrators and international tour coordinators in the hope of getting updates or other information. We are still not in the position to definitely or finally confirm nor deny anything.

We are now asking for your prayers that all will turn out positively, as well as for your patience and understanding. We are doing everything we can to keep you all informed and updated on matters relating to this issue.
